Have you ever seen a grumpy looking Blue Tit? This one definitely has attitude! 
Today I decided I wanted to know for certain what was nesting in the nest box on the Summer House, so I placed some fat balls in a tree about 12 foot from the box and hid my camera under the picnic table. Then using the wireless remote, went and hid in the summer house. Although I can't see the box from inside I could hear them coming and going so I just sat there and clicked the remote every time I heard some movement. And here are our new Nest Box residents. 
A pair of Blue Tits. By the way the male was acting the female is already sitting on eggs, which is great.
In the rest of the garden the ferns are starting to emerge and the Violets are still everywhere.
I decided today to put my Hammock out for the summer, wishful thinking I know.
We had a visit from two RedPolls today, didn't manage to get a photo though and then the day ended with another wonderful Sunset.
