Snowdrop

I was so lucky today as I saw a new Crocus open, right up in front of my eye's. The sun was so bright, I think it may have speeded up the action. The contrasting colour of the purple petals to the bright orange bit in the centre is amazing. The yellow Crocus's didn't have the same contrasting bits. The snow drops were looking stunning too today under the beautiful clear blue sky. The Daffodils that started coming up back in October I think it was, are still not up fully. I spent most of today enjoying the plant life but I did spot the Woodpecker on the tree and even caught him on camera flying off when he saw me.
