Can you believe it! Last night I had my 10,000 hit. Its also been 12 months since my blog started which means I have now just completed a full circle of life in my garden too. It has been amazing, watching all the animals and getting to know their personalities. When I started I had no idea how many species would appear and I am totally shocked by just how many there were. Watching the birds courting, collecting food then appearing a few weeks later with their new chicks was definitely a highlight. It hasn't all been highs though. Poor Quentin got eaten by a Sparrow hawk and then there was the hunt who came through and killed the Foxes. But I think on the whole there have been a million more highs than lows. And now its all about to start again. I'm sat here patiently waiting for the Lambs to be born and I'm listening intently for the call of the cuckoo in the distance.
