Phils Dawn Wake Up

I was woken this morning by Phil the Pheasant shouting his head off again. I really don't know what gets into him on these odd days where he just seems to want to make a racket. It's almost like he's saying I'm up, so you have to be!The weather today has been quite dull and wet so not great for taking photo's. I did spot Mr Woodpecker up in the tree though, he was waiting to feed on the square fat feeeder which he really does love. The Nuthatch was busy eating the peanuts I'd scattered on the lawn. He was wedging the nuts in the old holes of the branch so he could break off smaller pieces to eat. The solar lights I bought in the summer to watch the fox with in the evening are not working very well anymore. There's just not enough daylight to charge them so each evening we have about an hour of flashing and then nothing. They are making great perches for the Robins though.
