Niger Seeds

I've been out all day today but I didn't forget the birds. Today I decided to buy some Niger seeds and a new feeder. I've been trying different foods this week and have decided against Mealworm Munch and a couple of corn based ones. What has surprised me is how popular the High Protein Suet Squares are. All the birds seem to love it more than anything else I've ever put out. Not sure this is a good thing as its going to cost me a fortune if they carry on eating it like this. Niger Seeds are apparently a favourite with Goldfinches which just happen to be one of my favourite birds so I just had to buy some when I saw it on offer today. I've just put it out on the feeder now (yes, it is dark outside) in the hope the finches will be tucking in when I wake up in the morning. Watch this space.
