Jays fall for a nut

I was watching the Jays today and this guy had me in stitches. He'd found a monkey nut on the lawn and flew up onto the branch to eat it. He managed to get the first nut out but then as he was struggling with the second he lost grip on the nut and dropped it. He lunged to grab it, lost his grip and fell head first towards the ground. He only just managed to gain control before he hit the ground. He then spent ages trying to find his nut and ended up flying back on the branch and looking down from there, where he finally spotted it. He was one happy Jay again. Mr Mole has been busy again and has dug up the earth right next to Elfie my gnome. Is it too early for snow drops? I've spotted these bulbs comin up today and I haven't a clue what they are. I have Snowdrops near by but never actually there. I'm quite excited now waiting to see what will come up.
