Sad News

I have sad news today. This afternoon I found a dead male Blue Tit on the lawn. I am praying its not the male from the nesting pair on the summer house. Just in case I have placed some food in a tree about 12 foot away from the nest box so they will have at least some chance of survival. Tomorrow I will go out and sit and see if it is the male or not. Such a shame. On a happier note I have planted some 'Chocolate Peppermint' in the garden today. It's just like a normal mint plant but as you can guess it smells incredibly of chocolate and peppermint. I will use it for cooking eventually but for now just rubbing it between my fingers and smelling it, is wonderful.
