I've been away all day today, horse riding through the forests of Penmachno. It was such perfect weather to be outside. It means I didn't have any time to watch the birds today but I have got a few photo's to add. This one is of a couple of Goldfinches I caught yesterday, fighting for a place on the Niger Seed feeder. 
This morning I received an email from a lovely lady I met through the BBC's Autumn Watch Programme last year. She has read my piece about Fluff the fluffy Siskin and thought maybe he could be poorly. She had had a bird in a similar condition in her garden. So I'll be keeping a close eye on him now, not that there is much I could do really if he is sick. He is so tame and a feature in the garden it would be a shame to loose him so finger's crossed he's ok.
