Gruesome Discovery

What a yuckie weather day it was today, I think we're having all 4 seasons at once this week. I have to be honest and say apart from looking out the kitchen window whilst making a cup of tea this morning, I haven't had time to see whats been about. It was dark when I got in but could see the feeder was completely empty. What I have been doing for the past few nights is leaving some peanuts out for the Hedgehogs. They must be due out of hibernation soon and I can't wait to see them again. They made every evening something to look forward too last year and bought lots of people over to visit, just to see them. We made a gruesome discovery today. Just outside the back door was the insides of something quite large. It was the heart and intestines but it is the size of them which has us baffled. I think 'Cheeky' the stray cat has left us it as a Thank you but what is it? Only things I can think it could be is a large Rabbit or maybe Phil the Pheasant? Or maybe he is a demon cat and that's where all the little lammikins have gone..... Only joking but whatever he ate, it was big.
Still no lambs, surely it can't be much longer.
