Playing Jays

I've been keeping a good look out today for the gorgeous little Squirrel that appeared on Friday but she hasn't shown up again, sadly. This is one of the photo's I took of her on Friday when she managed to cover herself in food
The garden is looking a right mess. The wild bits and all battered and torn. The tree's are almost bare except for the Larch which still seems to be holding on to some of its golden needles.
The Jays have been having fun today. I could swear one of them was actually playing in the leaves, throwing them around just for the sake of it. It was lovely to watch. I also spotted a solitary Buttercup in the middle of the lawn today, seems a bit late in the season for them, doesn't it?
